Znanstveno-stručna predavanja

Fakultet elektrotehnike, računarstva i informacijskih tehnologija Osijek organizira znanstveno-stručna predavanja iz područja elektrotehnike, računarstva, te ostalih interdisciplinarnih područja. Uobičajeno vrijeme održavanja predavanja je utorak u 13:00 sati, ali se prema mogućnostima predavača predavanja mogu održavati i u drugim terminima. Predavači su znanstvenici i stručnjaci iz akademske zajednice, gospodarstsva i državnih institucija iz zemlje i inozemstva.

Osnovna namjena predavanja je:
- približavanje znanosti i struke gospodarstvu i ostalim institucijama
- približavanje novih tehnologija i zahtjeva iz gospodarstva i ostalih institucija akademskoj zajednici
- intenziviranje suradnje i istraživanja Elektrotehničkog fakulteta s drugim fakultetima i tvrtkama

Educational and scientific activities in Technical University of Sofia

Summary: Brief survey of educational structure and scientific activities of the Technical University of Sofia with more information about the research in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. International relation of the Technical University of Sofia, including    possibilities for research and professional development through programs for mobility of students, professors and scientists, the promotion of lifelong learning and education, and possibilities for international cooperation.

 Professor Ivan Yatchev is director of International Exchange and Integration, Technical University of Sofia and President of Federation of Scientific and Technical Unions in Bulgaria. He was born in 1958 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He obtained his Master of Sc. degree in 1983, PhD degree in 1988 and D.Sc. degree in 2007 in Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Sofia. He has worked as a full professor from 2008 at the Technical University of Sofia.

2000 - 2007    Vice Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering

2008 - 2011    Head of the Department of Electrical Apparatus

2011 - 2015    Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.

2015 -             Director International Exchange and Integration of TU Sofia

2005 - President of the Union of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications            in Bulgaria

2012 - President of the Federation of the Scientific and Technical Unions in Bulgaria

Prof. Yatchev is Editor-in-Chief of the scientific journal “Electrotechnica and Electronica”.  He is Chair of the International Symposium on Electrical Apparatus and Technologies SIELA, which is a biannual IEEE conference held in Bulgaria, as well as member of the committees of international conferences – COMPUMAG, CEFC, OPTIM, ICATE, OIPE, PES, PEMC and different national conferences. He is author and co-author of more than 160 publications, including 7 books and manuals for students. His research interests are in the area of numerical methods for field problems (finite element method, boundary integral equation method, coupled problems, electromagnetic fields, thermal fields and dynamic simulation), optimization, computer-aided design, high- and low-voltage electrical apparatus.

Еlectromobility in Bulgaria - present state and prospects for development

Summary: Functional design of road vehicles is a process that encompasses many of expert knowledge of techniques, new electric drives, to ergonomics. These are usually the cars, but also applies to motorcycles, trucks, buses. Electric vehicles - structures and performance, Public transport in Sofia, electric vehicles-design, construction and experience and use of laboratory for electric vehicles.

Professor Ivan Milenov is the Dean of the Faculty of Telecommunication and Electrical Equipment in Transport,  Todor Kableshkov University of Transport , Sofia.

Basic lecture courses: Electrical machinery and equipment, Electrical machinery, Electrical appliances, Electrical Part of Electric, Plants AC traction electric drives, Designing of power supply and electrical transport, High-speed transport.

Interests: electric transport, electricity and electrical equipment, AC drives, high-speed transport, converters, electric power stations and substations, nanotechnology

Publishing Activity: over 90 scientific publications at home and abroad - Austria, Poland, Russia, Serbia; co-author of 5 textbooks

Other activities: Head over 60 graduate students and 4 doctoral student; Chairman of the National Association of Electrical in transport (NDET) in the Republic of Bulgaria member of KIIP with full design capacity and participation in numerous international, national and regional projects. Courses taught: Electrical Machines and Devices, Electrical Machines, Electrical Devices, Electrical Part of Electric Power Stations, AC Traction Electric Drives, Design of Power Supply and Electric Equipment in Transport, High-Speed ​​Transport

• 2009 - present: Dean of the Faculty of Telecommunication and Electrical Equipment in Transport at the Todor Kableshkov University of Transport

• 2008 - 2009: Director of the Transport College at the Todor Kableshkov University of Transport

• 2000- 2008: Head of the Department of Power Engineering and Electrical Equipment in Transport at the Todor Kableshkov Higher School of Transport
