Pursuant to the Decision of the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek, made on 14 April 2026, we hereby issue

 

ANNOUNCEMENT

OF A PUBLIC DOCTORAL THESIS DEFENSE

 

I.

The public defense of the doctoral dissertation by doctoral candidate Valentin Šimundić, holding a university Master in Computer Engineering degree, entitled “Multi-contact door opening by a robotic arm using an RGB-D camera, a force-torque sensor and a tactile sensor”, prepared under the supervision of Full Professor Robert Cupec, PhD, at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek, will take place on Thursday, 23 April 2026, starting at 12:00 p.m., in the Council Chamber at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek (T1-33).

 

II.

The defense shall be conducted before the Doctoral Dissertation Defense Committee composed of the following members:

2. Full Professor Mario Vranješ, PhD, Member

OBAVIJEST

O JAVNOJ OBRANI DOKTORSKOG RADA

 

I.

Javna obrana doktorskog rada doktoranda Valentina Šimundića, sveučilišnog magistra inženjera računarstva, pod naslovom „Višekontaktno otvaranje vrata robotskom rukom pomoću RGB-D kamere, senzora sile i momenta te senzora dodira“ (na engleskom jeziku: Multi-contact door opening by a robotic arm using an RGB-D camera, a force-torque sensor and a tactile sensor), izrađenog pod mentorstvom prof. dr. sc. Roberta Cupeca, redovitog profesora u trajnom zvanju Fakulteta elektrotehnike, računarstva i informacijskih tehnologija Osijek, održati će se u četvrtak, 23. travnja 2026. godine s početkom u 12:00 sati, u Vijećnici Fakulteta elektrotehnike, računarstva i informacijskih tehnologija Osijek (T1- 33).

 

II.

Obrana će se održati pred Povjerenstvom za obranu doktorskog rada u sastavu:
