Staff applying for professional development Erasmus programmes can spend from 2 days to 2 months abroad. Days one spends travelling are included in the mobility period. If one wants to apply for professional development courses at a non-university level institution, Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreements are not required.

Academic staff can both give lectures and apply for professional development courses, while non-academic staff can apply for professional development courses at foreign institutions.

Academic staff who want to give lectures at host institutions need to be elected in scientific-educational, artistic-educational or educational titles. Research assistants and teaching assistants can give lectures at host institutions if they are involved in the teaching process at their home institution.
