Abstract
This lecture will present a state of the art in progress High Performance Computing. Progress in this area is tightly linked to hardware, software and algorithm advances. • Nowadays, progress in most areas depends on the ability to efficiently perform simulations, and other research activities in the HPC environment. Recent advances propose integration of many cores onto a single die, configuration of hybrid clusters and integration of customized escalators and GPUs. It has been shown that further reliable computational efficiency can increase significantly only using deep customization due to the e unchanged memory latency and limitation of the Instruction Level Parallelism.
