Pursuant to the Decision of the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek, made on 15 September 2026, we hereby issue

 

ANNOUNCEMENT

OF A PUBLIC DOCTORAL THESIS DEFENSE

 

I.

The public defense of the doctoral dissertation by doctoral candidate Miljenko Švarcmajer, holding a university Master in Computer Engineering degree, entitled “Optimisation Strategies for Enhancing Robustness and Security in Distributed Systems”, prepared under the supervision of Full Professor Mirko Köhler, PhD, and co-supervisor of Full Professor Ivica Lukić, PhD, at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek, will take place on Thursday, 8 October 2026, starting at 12:00 p.m., in the Council Chamber at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek (T1-33).

 

II.

The defense shall be conducted before the Doctoral Dissertation Defense Committee composed of the following members:

2. Associate Professor Tomislav Galba, PhD, Member
3. Full Professor Kristijan Lenac, Faculty of Engineering, University of Rijeka, Member

 

 

Sukladno Odluci Fakultetskog vijeća Fakulteta elektrotehnike, računarstva i informacijskih tehnologija Osijek od 15. rujna 2026. godine, daje se sljedeća

O JAVNOJ OBRANI DOKTORSKOG RADA

 

I.

Javna obrana doktorskog rada doktoranda Miljenka Švarcamjera, sveučilišnog magistra inženjera računarstva, pod naslovom „Strategije optimizacije za povećanje robusnosti i sigurnosti u distribuiranim sustavima“ (na engleskom jeziku: Optimisation Strategies for Enhancing Robustness and Security in Distributed Systems), izrađenog pod mentorstvom prof. dr. sc. Mirka Köhlera, redovitog profesora i sumentorstvom prof. dr. sc. Ivice Lukića, redovitog profesora Fakulteta elektrotehnike, računarstva i informacijskih tehnologija Osijek, održati će se u četvrtak, 8. listopada 2026. godine s početkom u 12:00 sati, u Vijećnici Fakulteta elektrotehnike, računarstva i informacijskih tehnologija Osijek (T1- 33).

 

II.

Obrana će se održati pred Povjerenstvom za obranu doktorskog rada u sastavu:
