IG01 - Research Group for Advanced Teaching Methods in Technical Sciences

Within the research group, a programme called “Advanced Programmers” is being conducted at the Faculty, which has been verified by the Education and Teacher Training Agency. The aim of the programme is to increase the quality of programming knowledge among fourth and fifth graders in primary schools in Osijek and its surroundings, as well as to explore which advanced teaching methods yield the best results in working with students. Every school year, the programme starts in early October and lasts for six months. Initial conclusions regarding advanced teaching methods used for teaching children programming languages were presented at the 9th International Scientific Colloquium Mathematics and Children held in 2023.
