IG01 - Research Group for Advanced Teaching Methods in Technical Sciences

Within the research group at the faculty, a program called "Advanced Programmers" is being conducted, which has been verified by the Agency for Education. The aim of the program is to enhance the quality of programming knowledge among fourth and fifth grade students in elementary schools in Osijek and its surroundings, as well as to explore which advanced educational methods yield the best results in working with students. The program begins each school year in early October and lasts for six months. Initial conclusions regarding advanced educational methods for teaching children programming languages were presented at The 9th International Scientific Colloquium Mathematics and Children held in 2023.
