FERIT is once again taking part in Girls in ICT Day – a global initiative that encourages girls and young women to pursue education in STEM fields and consider careers in the ICT sector, where women are still underrepresented, although their numbers continue to grow each year.

This year’s programme will take place on April 23 at the FERIT campus (Cara Hadrijana 10b). Through meeting and engaging with FERIT’s researchers and professors, as well as representatives from IT companies, the event aims to introduce students to the opportunities offered by STEM education and careers in ICT.

This year, the programme also includes participation from the company SPAN, featuring a lecture by Bernarda Crnogorac titled “It All Starts with Data.”
