After the successful first edition held in Ljubljana, SynGRID Summer School continues in Athens, Greece, taking place from 20 to 24 April 2026 at the National Technical University of Athens.
This year’s theme, “Intelligent and Secure Power Systems: Microgrids, Control, Stability and Real-Time Validation,” focuses on modern approaches to designing, operating, and validating resilient power systems through lectures, practical sessions, and interaction with leading energy stakeholders in Greece.
Who can apply?
- Students (Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD level)
- Researchers from various disciplines
- Young professionals from governmental institutions, energy companies, think tanks, non-governmental organisations and related fields
The candidates should be fluent in written and spoken English to be considered for an admission. Participation in the summer school is free of charge, and the organisers will provide accommodation and meals, while travel, visa and insurance costs are to be covered by the participants.
The application deadline is 28 February 2026.
