The European Space Agency (ESA), in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia (MZO) and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek (FERIT) is organizing a training course for all interested young scientists on the subject of Earth Observation. Course participants will have the opportunity to get a hands-on overview of Earth observation techniques using optical and SAR data.

The training course will be held in Osijek, at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek, from September 18 to 22, 2023, and the purpose of this training is to improve the skills of young scientists in the field of Earth observation and highlight the importance of space and space technologies. The number of participants is limited, and the application deadline is July 21, 2023. Participants are expected to be MSc or early PhD students in science or engineering with an interest in remote sensing and/or the topics covered during the course. The course will be in English.
